Poshmark Closet

Because we all need a little extra money…
I'm selling some of my clothes on Poshmark now! Some are things I haven't shown on this blog yet and some will be. Right now I only have a couple of listings, but if you want cheap, hardly worn clothes, check out my closet! Just click the picture below!

Float.

Guys. Photography is amazing. In the past couple of months of learning more about it, I keep getting surprised by all the things you can do with a camera and photoshop. This is a levitation picture I did of myself using a self-timer. It's my second attempt at doing a levitation photo, so I'm still not great at it. But I'm pretty proud of this xx
There should be more fashion shoots coming soon btw!

Marr's Spring.

When you go to such a big university, there's bound to be hidden treasures around. It took me over a year of being in college to find Marr's Spring and it is the perfect place for pictures.

My best friend came to visit me and thankfully modeled for practice headshots. I'm trying to get as much practice as I can with photography as it is part of the blogger's lifestyle. Isn't he just so handsome? *kiss

I know I already posted pictures from this day, but the rainy cold that is going on right now has made me miss this perfect weather already. Come back, sunshine xx

Mastering "Business Casual"

The term “business casual” is one that I have fought with for as long as I can remember. I have been told to “ basically be dressed up, but not too dressed up.”  That may sound simple, but when it comes to finding something to wear for important occasions, such as job interviews, internships and presentations, I need a description a little less vague.

WHAT TO WEAR: Formal

The beginning of the school year is the busiest time of the year for greek systems everywhere. Between rushing, volunteering and swaps, sorority and fraternity members always have something on their schedule. One of the best parts? Finding outfits to all of these events. But whether or not you are in a sorority, outfits such as the one this Fashionista is wearing can be perfect for any event, such as a formal date night....

Summer 2013 Lookbook

Hey, all! I can't believe it's already almost the middle of July! Summer has been going by so quickly, which is making me very sad because I love it so much; especially the clothes. Summertime is the easiest time to dress for me. I can just quickly pull a dress out of my closet and go. I like the simple makeup, simple hairstyles, and just all around simplicity and casualness that summer allows. So I have put together a lookbook to show you all some of my favorite outfits and trends of the summer. I have created a video also that will be uploaded soon. Enjoy!

Look 1
I love, love, love this dress from American Eagle. The fabric is 100% polyester and it feels amazing on me. The dress is loose and flowy, making it perfect for summer.

Look 2
I can pretty much assume that maxi skirts and crop tops are the two staples in many girls' closets this summer. Now, I'm 5'1, so I have been very hesitant when it comes to wearing one. But as soon as I tried this maxi skirt from Forever 21, I loved it. Also, I was so excited when I went to Italy and found this crop top (and bandeau) at Brandy Melville. I added a necklace from American Eagle to add a little accessory to the outfit.

Look 3
I will admit, I find rompers difficult. They're definitely too much trouble when you have to use the bathroom. But every once in a while I find one that I just love. I bought this romper from Forever 21. I love its pockets and its pattern. But the best part is the back (watch the video to get a glimpse). I love anything with an interesting back to it and this one is one of the bests I own.

Look 4
This top from H&M is my favorite top to wear when I'm going out at night with my friends. I love the design on it and I have been really into back black lately. I wear in the daytime by matching it with patterned shorts like these high-waist ones from Forever 21.

Look 5
The rule of thumb for crop tops: appropriate as long as your skirt/shorts cover your belly button. I do admit, I get a little self-conscious when wearing one, but they can be cute and innocent when matched with a skirt like this one from H&M. This crop top is actually a bit old. I bought it to wear with my kitty cat Halloween costume last year. I'm glad the crop top trend exploded, so I can get more use out of it!
